A 118º point reduces the risk of the bit slipping while a high temperature treatment during the manufacturing process make it perfect when applied to steels that are tensile or have a large alloy content (like auto or aircraft bodies). Use on mild steel, stainless steel and difficult-to-machine materials, welded seams and car body work.
