Automatically optimised watering with the Soil Moisture Sensor makes watering your garden has never been so simple and precise. The innovative GARDENA Soil Moisture Sensor automatically ensures your garden is watered as needed and saves water by measuring the current soil moisture and transmitting this to your irrigation computer. If the soil is still sufficiently moist, the next watering cycle is skipped. This way, your plants automatically receive reliable and accurate care, with the added bonus of saving water. The sensor is compatible with almost all GARDENA irrigation computers and multi-channel controllers. Due to its compact size, the battery-powered Soil Moisture Sensor can not only be used in lawns or flower beds, but is also suitable for smaller potted plants. To ensure that the sensor does not interfere with lawn care, it has a particularly low height and a flat surface: both lawnmowers and robotic lawnmowers can easily drive over the sensor. The five-metre connection cable allows for flexible installation and can be extended as needed with an optional extension cable. To keep an eye on your watering, you can view the sensor readings on the connected water controller. A low battery level of the two AA batteries (not included) is indicated both on the irrigation computer and on the LED in the battery compartment. The batteries can last about a year in operation. This way, the soil moisture sensor can always work reliably to ensure watering as needed and save water.
