This chipset boosts and extends the cables signal prior to delivering the signal to the Display. ACTIVE cables are "unidirectional" as the signal is transmitted in one direction (Source to Display).
Please be sure to connect the connector marked "Source" to the source device such as matrix switcher, cable/satellite box, DVD player; and the "Display" marked connector to the TV/Monitor.
