The Akyga® AKM091 case presents a new approach to the design of racks for cryptocurrency miners. It is the ideal solution in the fight against the high temperatures generated by the hardware when running at top speed. The closed walls of the case makes that airflow is more targeted than with standard crypto-miner rigs. This makes component cooling more efficient and thus reduces the risk of damage to graphics cards due to overheating and increases their performance. Therefore, it is the perfect solution not only for mining, but also for building a small server.

The steel construction and the solidly riveted wall mounting make the case characterised by high rigidity and robustness. The top cover is attached by screws and can be removed to install components. Underneath, a riser bar and a mounting profile for 6 to 9 graphics cards can be found, depending on their size. In addition, at the bottom there are protruding pins to facilitate the installation of the mainboard. Right next to it, a space for two ATX power supplies has been provided. The mounting holes allow for a simple screw mounting of the PSU to the case. Furthermore, the front and the backside provide space for the installation of two case fans. Thus, up to 10 fans with the size of 120mm can be installed, ensuring an effective air circulation inside the case. Furthermore, the front panel provides a built-in on/off switch as well as four USB ports. Two standard USB 2.0 and two high-speed USB 3.0 ports.
