FIAP 1415 hatching container for fish eggs (Ø x H) 160 x 460 mm

This plastic jar, specifically designed for hatching, simulates natural hatching conditions. Being made from resilient, rot-proof, and easy to clean plastic, the system allows for safe and simple use. A centrally arranged inlet pipe with open ends serves as top-down hatching water intake. The water intake’s large diameter (30 mm) and its semicircular-shaped base facilitate ideal current. The respective water demand amounts to approx. 4 l / min. FIAP profibreed Hatching Jar is supplied with a 1.000-micron cover screen, which serves to prevent the loss of eggs. Remove the cover when the fry hatches in order to let the fish swim. FIAP profibreed Hatching Jar is suitable for trout, salmon, rock hind, catfish, tilapia, and numerous other fish species.Capacity: approx. 100,000 trout eggs.
