Rembrandt watercolour paper is made of high-quality cellulose. This deep-black paper offers a great background for gouache, more opaque watercolours and the range of Rembrandt specialty watercolours that include sparkling metallic, pearlescent, and colour-shifting shades.

This paper block contains 10 sheets of cold-pressed 360 g/m² (140 lbs) watercolour paper with a medium-grain texture. Each sheet is glued on four sides for stability and to ensure an even surface. To separate the sheets, there is an opening in the front of the glued surface where you can carefully start cutting the sheet from the block using a palette knife. Rembrandt watercolour paper is acid-free, pH-neutral and buffered to guarantee the durability of the paper and longevity of the artwork.
