The perfect alternative to the app and remote control
The Yeelight Smart Dimmer was awarded the reddot Award 2019 and the iF Design Award 2020 for good reasons: it can control all components of the light without the ceiling lamps going offline in the app; and it can be easily mounted anywhere on the wall as it does not need to be wired. The smart switch is battery-operated (button cell CR2032, must be purchased separately) and sends the control signals via Bluetooth. It is compatible with all Yeelight ceiling lights. The advantage of the switch: unlike your phone or the remote control, you cannot misplace it! In addition, most people have internalized the use of the light switch when leaving or entering the room so that they continue to switch the smart ceiling lights on and off with the conventional light switch, which means that the lamps go offline and can no longer be reached via the app or the voice assistant. The switch solves this problem. And just like the remote control, it is fantastic for visitors to operate the light without an app.
What the smart switch can do
With the smart dimmer you can switch all Yeelight ceiling lights on and off, dim them, set the color temperature, change the color and change the mode (main light, night light):
Press briefly to switch on and off
Turn to adjust the brightness
Keep pressed and turn to adjust the color temperature
Press briefly twice to switch between day light and night light mode
Keep pressed to choose the color (for ceiling lights that support indirect RGB light)
Easily attached everywhere - without dangerous wiring
Thanks to the self-adhesive velcro connection on the back, the switch can be attached anywhere on the wall without having to dismantle the conventional light switch in order to wire the new one. Mount the switch right next to the couch or bed so that you don't even have to get up to adjust the lighting.
Minimalist design and long life span
The high-quality materials and the clever design - from the securely installed parts thanks to internal locking mechanisms to the sensitive sensors for quick reactions to the fireproof back - guarantee a long service life. The switch can be pressed at least 50,000 times without any problem, as tested in the laboratory. Due to the low power consumption, the battery (button cell CR2032, not included) lasts two years if the switch is operated 50 times a day (pressed 40 times and turned 10 times).
