Color Gels Lacquers is a low ammonia, liquid permanent color with vibrant saturation and lacquer shine. Color Gels Lacquers provide high coverage, high impact fashion shades and are ideal for easy technique work. Always use acidic Shades EQ on Zones 2 and 3 to care for previously colored strands.

HOW IS COLOR GELS LACQUERS MIXED?
Color Gels Lacquers is mixed in a 1:1 ratio using existing Pro-oxide Cream Developers (10–40). This new Lacquers formula is not intermixable with the previous Color Gels Emulsified Developer.
WHAT IS THE PROCESSING TIME FOR COLOR GELS LACQUERS?
Processing time varies depending on developer used.
- 10 vol. = 20 minutes
- 20 vol. = 30–35 minutes (optimal for gray coverage)
- 30 vol. = 40 minutes
- 40 vol. = 45 minutes
WHAT ARE THE SUPERIOR GRAY COVERAGE FAMILIES?
These are the Color Gels Lacquers shade families that can be used alone for superior gray coverage:
