This Lindy Media Converter extends the connection between two network devices at distances up to 550m using multimode fibre optic cables. The installation is plug-and-play and the user only has to connect to the RJ45 port with a Cat.5e or above Ethernet cable and the fibre port with a SC Multimode 50/125 or 62.5/125 Duplex fibre optic cable. No configuration needed, easily integrated into any existing Ethernet network and supports Full/Half duplex mode and auto-negotiation on both ports.
The Media Converter can operate with 100 or 1000Mbps network speed, it also provides status LEDs to indicate data link, speed, Full/Half Duplex and link failure. Supports IEEE 802.3 standard and Jumbo frames up to 9K.

Why do I find that the same product is available on different item numbers?
