HOOD C is designed for outdoor detectors, including AOD-200 and all OPAL models. The hood protects the detector from precipitation (rain, snow) and from dirt (dust, etc.). This is particularly useful in the OPAL series detectors as it significantly reduces the risk of anti-masking function being disturbed. HOOD C is made of high quality polycarbonate, which provides high mechanical strength. Quick and easy installation of the hood (with two snap catches) on the detector enclosure does not require the use of any tools.
