The mains cables (power cables) play a really special role within the hi-fi system. They need to manage the impulsive power consumption caused by dynamic music passages on integrated amplifiers, power amplifiers or active loudspeakers.
In addition, the extreme current peaks, amplified in the devices during conversion from AC to DC voltage, must be passed to the individual hi-fi units without delay or loss.
