The SuperSpeed USB 3.1 (Gen. 1) 4-fold USB-Hub incl. an active extension cable is an indispensable accessory for PC and Mac users to bring USB peripherals such as hard drives, printers, mice, keyboards, and USB hubs within reach from behind the desk or across the room. The active cable is bus powered with an integrated amplification chipset to ensure the SuperSpeed USB 3.1 (Gen. 1) performance over longer distances than a passive USB cable. The combination of nickel-plated connectors, bare copper conductors as well as dense shielding made of foil & braid provides superior cable performance and error-free data transmission.
PureLink DataSeries - Data Cables for Professional Applications and Installations
This is an USB 3.1 (Gen. 1) Hub with an included active repeater cable, enabling the connection to a USB device in up to 10m distance. This USB-Hub incl. repeater cable supports data transfer rates up to 5Gbps and is fully backwards compatible with USB 2.0/1.1 devices.
The additional DC-input port is for the use with devices in need of more power, such as USB HDDs and other "High Power Devices".
A daisy-chain of up to 5 hubs is possible.
The patented locking design assures firm connections between extension cables.
