The SIKU double-decker train is fitted with standard SIKU train couplings at the front and rear, allowing the coupling of other trains. The new double-decker train extends the public transport range of SIKU buses and trains. The depot already contains a MAN double-decker local bus (1884), SIKU tram (1895) and SIKU articulated bus (1617).
